In 2000, Jason Ward & Associates set up in Melbourne and began a legacy of unique recruitment, starting out with a focus on Construction and Oil & Gas projects.
Through the 2000s, the firm continued to expand and bring in new, exciting work. 2005 saw a new branch for the growing business in Hong Kong. In 2007, the firm expanded even more, opening a satellite office in Shanghai, China. It picked up design and property projects and renovations as major manpower supplier. Clients covers major developers, top design firms, global engineering consultancy firms, and big contractors.
Into 2009, the firm renamed JWard Group (JWG). Shanghai office has been fully registered and starts running officially. The firm continued to gain success with a myriad of clients and services garnering multiple recognitions.
From 2021, JWG has merged with ABLE consulting, a 16 years’ history Healthcare focus recruitment agency. It leads JWG even stronger than ever and draws a bigger picture for the group.
Currently, 21 years after setting up JWG, it announced four offices in Asia Pacific region including Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Sydney. Services include recruitment consultancy, executive search, mergers and acquisition, business development consultancy, HR/strategic consultancy, training and research, CV/Portfolio advice and career guidance.
