About the Role

1. Must be with a Civil engineering background.
2. Must have experience in the field of Interiors and Fit-out industry.
3. Minimum 5 years UAE experience in the same field of Interiors and Fit-out industry
4. UAE valid driving license and own car.
5. Only qualifying and immediately available candidate should apply.

Requirements

  • Sourcing and procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for interior fit-out projects

  • Providing value engineering recommendations based on design and finishes to optimize project outcomes

  • Able to work freely and confidently on AutoCAD in order to verify quantities and finishes.

  • Strong knowledge and experience working with materials related to interior turnkey works such as building materials, joinery, MEP, glass works and signage, FFE and special items as required.

  • Have recent database of suppliers and subcontractors to source materials/works for interior civil works, MEP, joinery, and glass works.

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services at competitive prices.

  • Negotiating contracts and purchase orders with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms

  • Stock and materials management.

  • Ensure all invoices/bills of contractors and suppliers are pre-approved by the cost control and immediate reporting manager.

  • Work closely with the design and projects team to arrange materials for sample board presentations.

  • Involvement in the pre-tender stage, assisting the estimations team to source items as indicated

  • Managing the procurement process, ensuring all procurement activities are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures and timely and accurate systems are followed to avoid any lag in project execution.

  • Monitoring vendor performance, certifying the subcontract works and taking corrective action as necessary to meet quality and commitments

  • Collaborating with project teams to identify and resolve any procurement-related issues that may impact project timelines or budgets

  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new and innovative products and services

  • Developing and maintaining procurement reports and metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement

  • Other duties as assigned and not limited to the above, however, related to the job role and its processes.
