Approval Engineer

1. Authority Approvals & Certification:
• Coordinate and obtain approvals and completion certificates from various local authorities such as DCD, Dubai Municipality, DDA, TECOM, Trakhees, Nakheel, and Emaar.
• Confidently represent the company in clarifying design drawings with authorities to secure approvals.
2. Accreditations & Experience:
• Must possess Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defense accreditations.
• Proven experience with the entire process of obtaining fit-out permits and completion certificates, including authority submissions via online portals.
• Thorough knowledge of procedures to obtain approvals and permits, including mall management work permits and police night work permits.
3. Project Management:
• Hands-on experience with the full project lifecycle from initial concept to completion, including preparation and submission of documents for authority approval and project closeout.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations by checking and validating fit-out drawings, including MEP services, before submission.
• Prepare and update all necessary project documentation, records, files, and databases.
• Coordinate inspections with building management and ensure that all documentation is maintained appropriately.
4. Client & Team Coordination:
• Meet with clients to understand requirements and document follow-ups on important actions.
• Prepare checklists of required documents/drawings as per the fit-out manual/local authority requirements.
• Prepare and submit pre-fit-out dilapidation reports and closeout documents to the client and building management.
• Be available to support the project team, including weekends, for any permits or approvals required.
5. Technical Skills:
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
